Automated electrolytic analyzer

Electrolyte analyzers are used in hospital and reference laboratories and also point of care settings. Most electrolyte analyzers use blood plasma, serum, or urine samples; some analyzers can use whole blood (for faster turnaround time) and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Automated Electrolytes are measured using ion-selective electrodes (ISE) and colorimetric and photometric techniques. Most electrolyte analyzers are capable of high throughput ranging from 400 to 2400 tests per hour. The CLS016 product measures various combinations of sodium, potassium, Ionized Calcium, Lithium, pH Bicarbonate, and Chloride in whole blood, serum, plasma, and urine.

Fully Automatic Electrolyte Analyzer

The electrolyte analyzer is a completely automated, microprocessor controlled electrolyte system that uses current ISE technology to make electrolyte measurements. The CLS017 product measures various combinations of sodium, potassium, Ionized Calcium, Lithium, pH Bicarbonate, and Chloride in whole blood, serum, plasma, and urine. Electrolyte results obtained from whole blood, serum, plasma, acetate, bicarbonate dialysate or bicarbonate dialysate, or pre-diluted urine. All reagents, as well as waste, are sealed in the convenient SnapPak container. The Electrolyte Analyzer monitors the amount of remaining reagent and prompts the user to insert a fresh container when required. A built-in sensor ensures that SnapPak has been correctly installed.
